Only Six Countries Have Equal Rights for Women

According to the report Women, Business and the Law 2019, Belgium, France, Denmark, Latvia, Luxembourg and Sweden are the only ones which provide equal rights for women and men.
The report uses eight indicators and their impact and laws on women's career.
These indicators are:
Going Places, Starting a Job, Getting Paid, Getting Married, Having Children, Running a Business, Managing Assets and Getting a Pension.
The Republic of North Macedonia is in the group with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lao PDR and South Africa with a score of 88.13 out of 100.
On the "Having Children" indicator that examines laws affecting women’s work after pregnancy, have been made reforms over the ten-year period.
Thirty-three economies across all regions introduced paternity leave among them North Macedonia.
Republic of North Macedonia here scored 80 out of 100 index points, but the government is determined even further on the improvement of the current law.
